🌍 AfroDesi: When Bhangra Meets Amapiano on the Singapore Dancefloor

AfroDesi is a newly launched party series in Singapore that boldly blends African and South Asian club music under one roof, conceived by DJ Triple S, whose real name is Shahan Shah Shawn. Revellers can expect sets spanning Amapiano, Kwaito, Gqom and Afrobeat alongside Bollywood dance tracks and Bhangra anthems, all delivered by a roster of resident DJs including K2, Prodiji, and Vijay Singh, known as SWTLKR. The concept, which began its marketing push in April 2023, reflects both the global rise of these two music cultures and the multicultural reality of Singapore itself.
