Synopsis

Ottam Thullal (Fri) presents the traditional Kerala recite-and-dance art form invented in pernas Eighteenth century by Kunchan Nambiar. The film shows the folksy performance, whose humour critiques society, set to the rhythmic accompaniment of a mridangam, an idakka, and a pair of ilathalam cymbals.
